‘My son is a high-quality person’ – Trump releases statement on NYT bombshells

Right as the White House press conference began, el Presidente Trumpo released a very short statement about the bombshells slapping around his son on Trump collusion.

Again, had Trump said anything remotely honest, I would thank him for it. But as always, he completely lies when he says Trumpy Jr. has been transparent about his interactions with Russians.

In fact, he’s had to be dragged kicking and screaming before admitting anything.

He’s known that he met with a lawyer that was presented to him as being from the Russian government to provide information about Hillary Clinton. He’s known this for a year. The only reason he released the emails this morning is because he was caught.

And how was he caught? He was caught because Trump’s son-in-law had been caught lying on his applications for government security clearance, and he was updating it. And on that update he talked about this meeting that he had not disclosed before.

How is that, in any way whatsoever, “transparent” at all?

And what’s more, just days after that meeting, the Trump campaign was accused of colluding with the Russians, he gave a weird, bleary-eyed, panicked and hysterical denial of it all.

That’s “transparent”?
