The first chupacabra in Congress, Nancy Pelosi, got pretty salty in a fundraising email and called all Republicans “despicable.”

Now it’s likely someone else actually wrote that and she just put her name to it, BUT, she put her name to it. I’m also not going to pretend that the epithets tossed out by Republicans in the Trump age are much better – but most in the party aren’t dumb enough to broad brush EVERYONE on the other side. Dumb Nancy definitely is.
Remember that while many use the language of war in our political struggle, it is one of persuasion. We vote to decide who gets power, so fundamentally we have to persuade people that we are right and we should be in control. It’s not all about “destroying” the other side, we also have to welcome more people to our side.
Thankfully, Pelosi is too stupid to understand she needs to do the same…
