Apparently an old 2012 Facebook post from North Carolina Lt. Governor Mark Robinson has resurfaced where he said that he had paid for an abortion in the past.

Robinson addressed this today in a short video on Facebook sitting beside his wife, where he talks one on one with his constituents. This isn’t a heavily produced video or anything of the sort. It’s just Robinson and his wife in front of a camera in his ome and I found it to be quite powerful.

I love this video. Robinson said he and his wife weren’t married at the time and it was the hardest decision they’ve ever had to make. He also says “And sadly, it was the wrong decision”.
He says this is something that they’ve had to live with and that he knows what it’s like to have gone through this, telling people who have been in this same situation that they are not alone.
He says this and his spiritual life is why he is adamantly pro-life and that he also believes in a God of forgiveness.
You should definitely watch the video because it is inspirational. Robinson is the real deal and I look forward to him being the governor of NC one day.
