Never Trumper David French took to Twitter to defend his vote for Biden in the face of an avalanche of bad executive orders coming from Biden, including killing the Keystone Pipeline, stopping the building of the wall on the southern border, and rejoining the Paris Climate Accords.
Here’s what he wrote:
Regarding Biden's EOs, two things are true:
1. You can oppose the worst (including through litigation, when appropriate), yet…
2. A handful of bad EOs do not mean it was better to support a deranged liar who'd incite the sacking of the Capitol to hold onto power.

Translation: You think Biden’s executive orders are bad, what about Trump??? Geez.
His tweet didn’t go over too well, even with people who didn’t like Trump:
Let's not start playing Whatabout Trump. Biden is doing bad things, period.

So… Whataboutism?
Trump objectively did bad things.
Biden is objectively doing bad things.

And a couple more…
The White House celebrates baby-killers and could expand government surveillance, but hey, it's okay because we're done with mean tweets? https://t.co/53jKsyPUmK

Brace yourself for the next four years of regime-approved/"Washington Generals"-style right-leaning punditocracy: No matter what Biden does, at least he's not the bad orange man! https://t.co/7oLvNF2dkI

It will be a long four years for French. At some point he’ll probably realize the mistake he made and come crying back. Or not.
