New Gallup poll shows Trump’s approval rating increasing, support for impeachment falling as Democrats poised to impeach Trump

On the day that Democrats vote to impeach Trump, a new Gallup poll has come out showing Trump’s approval rating on the rise as support for impeachment continues to fall:

FOX NEWS – A new poll released hours before the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives was poised to impeach President Trump indicates that by a slight 51-45 percent majority, Americans oppose removing the president from office.

The survey – released Wednesday morning by Gallup – also points to a drop in support for impeachment from October, when the inquiry into Trump got underway. At that time, according to Gallup, Americans supported impeachment by a 52-46 margin.

Just to underscore this, support for impeachment fell 7 points since October and opposition to impeachment rose 5 points.

And not only that, but Trump’s approval rating is up 6 points from October:

And the poll, which was conducted Dec. 2-15, indicates that the Republican incumbent’s approval rating has edged up the past two months – from 39 percent in October to 45 percent now – as the House held blockbuster public hearings.

As they point out in the article and as we’ve seen in recent past, independents are the ones moving strongly toward opposing impeachment. Yet for whatever reason, Democrats still persist with this phony impeachment. It’s like they want to lose in 2020.

What’s funny is that Democrats think they must impeach or Trump will win in 2020:

But based on these more recent polls it seems to be the opposite, that impeaching Trump is going to propel him to victory.
