NEW: The National Hurricane Center provides an UPDATE on Hurricane Dorian and what to expect…

The National Hurricane Center has just provided an update on Hurricane Dorian, how it looks to be getting healthier and what to expect in terms of landfall in Florida:

They report that Dorian has nothing but warm water to strengthen it between now and Sunday night, when it begins to hit the Florida coast. That leaves a couple of days to prepare if you haven’t already.

Landfall is expected to happen on Monday, but forecasters say tropical force winds will be hitting Florida on Sunday night.

Currently Dorian has 110 mph winds, but is expected to increase to 140 mph windows by the time it reaches Florida, which is a Category 4. Rainfall is forecasted to drop 10-15 inches in certain parts of Florida and storm surge could be as high as 10 foot.
