While New York City’s new mayor is clearly an improvement over the last mayor, he’s still pretty stupid when it comes to certain issues like Florida’s new parental rights bill.
Mayor Adams is launching this new billboard campaign in the state of Florida to get people to move to NYC:

He not only bought this stupid billboard, but held a press conference announcing it:
New York City is launching a marketing campaign aimed at Florida's LGBTQ+ residents in response to the "Don't Say Gay" law.

I don’t understand this at all. Adams hasn’t even bothered to read the bill and yet he’s spending all this money launching a digital billboard with the word ‘gay’ all over it.
Because if he had read the bill he’d know that it says nothing about saying the word ‘gay’ or anything of the sort. It is to protect young children prior to the fourth grade from inappropriate sexual and gender ideological discussions.
