In the latest stealth edit that the New York Times has been caught committing, they went from telling the truth about sexual harassment allegations against Joe Biden to whitewashing them out.

In fact, they even tweeted the paragraph that they later edited, without leaving an editor’s note that they edited it:
No other allegation about sexual assault surfaced in the course of our reporting, nor did any former Biden staff corroborate Reade’s allegation. We found no pattern of sexual misconduct by Biden, beyond hugs, kisses and touching that women previously said made them uncomfortable

UPDATE!! They deleted the tweet! LOL!
The @nytimes deleted this tweet and also did an unacknowledged edit of this out of their story. Brave. pic.twitter.com/XieC3SngaQ

[End Update]
Pretty ridiculous and they’re getting a lot of pushback online. I mean, even if they had kept that line it, it would have shown their hypocrisy in having a much lower standard of castigation against Republicans like Brett Kavanaugh while letting Biden off the hook:
“We found no pattern beyond the very public pattern of unwanted touching.”
When rapists + abusers know that they can get away with crossing boundaries *in plain sight,* they feel emboldened to escalate, isolate + attack victims.
then, apparently the NY Times will cover for them https://t.co/vjKt8QOtTM
