New York Times tries to cover for their egregious mistake reporting Israel bombed Gaza hospital

The New York Times is trying to cover for their egregious mistake in reporting the Hamas propaganda that Israel bombed a hospital in Gaza.

The Times ran with the story, as did other garbage publications, but instead of admitting their error they blame it on “the difficulty of covering the war between Israel and Hamas:

“This NYT “sorry not sorry” eludes a fundamental point: maybe don’t report an event immediately if the only perspective you give is from an untrustworthy source? But MSM favors speed over accuracy. And using a photo of a bombed building that’s not the hospital under a headline about the hospital is just bad.”

There isn’t any difficulty here. The New York Times, like the others, should have recognized that the Palestinian Health Authority in Gaza is run by Hamas, a terrorist organization that brutally raped and murdered around 1,400 Israelis. At the very least they should have immediately questioned the narrative and tried to verify it. Instead they enthusiastically reported misinformation, which led to anger and riots around the world at the Israeli government.

In response to a discussion about the bad reporting, the spokesman for the Israeli government nailed it with this post on X:
