Newt Gingrich: The Obama admin won’t profile terrorists, but they’ll profile ‘patriots’? This is almost madness

Newt says that Obamacare is going to have big problems over this scandal because of its heavy reliance on the IRS. He said Obama will have to force people in the IRS to testify before Congress and fire who he can over this scandal in order to clearly back away from it. Because, as he reminds us, this is an administration that won’t profile terrorists, but they will profile patriots? He says it’s almost madness.

    1. Robert Rivera Impeachment is too lenient for this corrupt piece of dogdirt. Obama is out to collapse the country and enslave the citizens. This is tyranny and treason. Lock and load.

  1. With the DoJ in the Marxists hands, the cure for government corruption will have to come from the muzzle of a gun.
Didn’t Chairman Mao say something like that?
    That man was a visionary.

  2. Newt it is not “almost madness”.  It’s insanity.

  3. You know what I think? I believe when the Tea Party backlash was brewing, right before Republicans took the House, Obama felt threatened. That’s my only explanation. This man is very petty. If he has had a history of bringing the office of the Presidency low enough to start having a petty battle with a news organization — just because they aren’t falling in line with the rest of the Pravda media we have in this country — it doesn’t surprise me what is going on here.  This President is a disgrace.

    1. What is odd is that this President had the tendacity to wiretap the Associated Press. These are the same people that have been covering for this President since he first took Office. Now, that this “wiretapping scandal” has come out, don’t be surprised that the MSM turns on him. “So much for the Honeymoon!!!! Honeymoon is over, Mr. President!!!!”

    2. Booker This is weirdly so much like Watergate.  Nixon was worried about his opposition, the break-in occurred, then Nixon wins in a landslide, but the cover-up is what brings him down.  Sort of the same thing here.  Obama is worried about the Tea Party, goes after them, wins the election, and then the cover-up start to emerge.  I think this is already worse than Watergate and has the potential to be much, much worse than it is now.  Many more higher people are involved in Benghazi, the IRS (which is under the Executive branch by the way), the AP phone records snatch by DOJ, etc, etc.  It all seems to be, we wanna do it our way and if you disagree we’re going to whack you and we could care less whether its legal or not.

      1. Pyrran Except that even then, the media wasn’t on Nixon’s side to start with. How easily they could have minimized and covered up Watergate if they’d chosen to. But the Propaganda Press  is still almost in thrall to obama. There seem to be some who are awakening, but never forget: obama’s handlers own the media, and the handlers never change.
obama probably thinks he’s a Big Shot, but he’s just a tool. Even if we’re fortunate enough to get rid of obama, we will still need to go after the powers that gave him cover and put him in place.

  4. You can’t believable how long that I’ve waited for this to happen to this President!!!! His self-indulgent, egotistical, narcissistic, self-centered Attitude has been going on for FAR TOO LONG!!!! He has no regard for the U.S. Constitution, the Constituents that voted for him, the People that he governs over (by their Consent or not), and thinks that both he and his Wife are owed a Living to by the Taxpayers that pay his Salary. “I’m sorry, Mr. President, BUT THE PARTY’S OVER!!!! It’s time that You’ve start taking ‘Responsibility’ and start answering alot of questions!!!!! I hope that You enjoy being put UNDER THE BUS FOR A CHANGE!!!! (PUN INTENDED!!!!) You’ve done it to alot of People in your rise to Power!!!! HOW DOES IT FEEL????”

  5. Just by these comments alone one can see a cross section of Americas  overwhelming disaproval of the whole Obama Administration and their tactics, Yet supposedly according to PPl like Feinstein, H. Clintons popularity has never been higher. Of course that was on a liberal talk (News) show on Sunday morning with no equal time for rebuttal who can at this point believe any of these people or devils which ever seems more appropriate. Please get rid of the lawyers and big Pharma and now an untouchable corporation Monsanto who will ultimately ruin our very food supply hmmm Famine how convenient.

  6. The IRS with a vendetta. Lovely thought.  And Obama has the audacity to talk about the “Rule of Law”?
    Where is his typical “outrage”?
“We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act.  And make no mistake, justice will be done.”???!
Oops, I mean posturing … hmmm, those guys in Libya are still hanging out in Cafes, no?  Think this will be handled with greater urgency? (snicker) … sure.

  7. What was that exasperated sighing about in the background?  It begins at the 51 second mark.  Was that the Moaning Schmoe?
I interpret it as not exasperation with the IRS and the Obama, but exasperation with Gingrich.  It was like he was signaling Gingrich to shut up.

    1. Judges718 Was thinking the same thing.  Probably some dopey lib, but on that show, could have been anyone.

  8. well you folks will have to fight it on your own.  i’m one of those who were destroyed, and i’ve learned to keep my mouth shut.  i’ve lost the family farm to the government…and there’s no spirit left in me.  time for someone else to take the chances…but that won’t happen till it’s too late and they THEMSELVES have been attacked by their own.

    1. anonymous72493I’m sorry to hear that. I don’t blame you for your reticence. There is a way to recoup your loss, though, and much more than recoup:
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.” (Jesus is speaking in Matthew 6:19-20.)
There is another life after this one, anon. You are invited:
“Then He who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.’ And He said to me, ‘Write, for these words are true and faithful.’ And He said to me, ‘It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of
the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son!”(Revelation 21:5-7)
      “Behold,
I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the
door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.” (Revelation 3:20-21; Jesus is speaking.)
“Then Jesus said to them again, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep… All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.  I am the door. The
thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I
have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.’ ” (John 10:7-10)
anon, trust the Good Shepherd. He won’t let you down, although I have to warn you, becoming a believer in Jesus does mean that you may be up against government opposition again. But not even the IRS can take away a believer’s reward in Heaven. And the more they try, the bigger your reward gets.

  9. This is just the 90’s all over again.  All the counterterrorism training I got covered almost exclusively right wing groups, and the muzzies were something that just happens over there.  What’s really more disgusting is all the Leftist scumbags that crawl out from under rocks in the DoD, FBI, police departments, etc, whenever there’s a Leftist in the Whitehouse.

  10. Nobody will be fired.
I like the yawning by the host(s) during what Newt was saying. VERY professional MSNBC. What a bunch of clowns.

    1. The Sentinel the yawn was a scripted subliminal message to Low Information Voters: “Ho-hum, nothing to see here, just another boring old politician; go back to sleep.”

      1. livefyre is messing up again. I tried twice to edit the above comment, but it failed. Let’s see if I can do it here:
I’d bet that the yawn was a scripted subliminal message to Low Information Voters:
“Ho-hum, nothing to see here, just another boring old politician; go
        back to sleep.”

  11. Profiling patriots but not terrorists. Pity the FBI didn’t go after the Boston Bombers as diligently as the IRS did going after Tea Party Patriots. Maybe if they did a lot more people would be alive today. Something is terribly wrong with our government, not to mention our bloated bureaucracy.

  12. Almost madness? No such thing.
Either it is madness or diabolical. I vote diabolical. If you keep the masses living in fear, keep people wound up and on a hair trigger, look the other way while people bleed…then the public at large will give up their liberty in the name of security. It’s the nature of man. That security will come in the form of more government power. People will be addicted to that security and the Democrats will exploit that addiction like they always do. Fear mongering is what they do best.

This falls right inline with sequester cuts and squeezing people until it hurts and they cry uncle. Right now there are a lot of defense firms not hiring and in the freezer not getting paid on projects commissioned and agreed upon prior to sequester. Now remember sequester was a cut from growth..not current money and it didn’t cut all the growth either. What Obama has done is not pay people the U.S. Govt. owes money to and is blaming it on sequester. One would have a difficult time proving it wasn’t due to sequester because they can’t get access to the information. He is shaking down main street, making it hurt, so he can get his way.
Once again a pattern has developed. The sad part is  it’s the same pattern we have seen thugs, criminals, and despots implement many times throughout history.

    1. Laurel A
Agreed. Like “premeditated” murder. They knew very well what they were doing and they got caught.

    2. Laurel A You cynic you. I’ll bet you don’t believe in the Tooth Fairy either.
      Seriously now, well said.

      1. lawngreen Laurel A No I don’t. Tooth Fairy ticked me off as a kid haven’t believed since!

  13. Newt is right, he has drawn the direct line between Obamacare and its enforcers at the IRS. Lest we forget, it was the idiot Chief Justice Roberts who through his appallingly twisted Judgment made all of this possible with respect to Health Care. After all as the Founders all understood, we can always count on the fairness and justice of the taxing authorities/s.

    1. deTocqueville1 Heard this recently, not quite sure who said it, but he quoted Chief Justice John Marshall.
“the power to tax involves the power to destroy,”

  14. …Newt it is not Madness it is and will be the end of DEAR LEADER Mao HUSSEIN Obama , IMPEACHMENT proceeding as we post .”
Glory & Praise to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ 04/28/13

  15. My friend who bought ad spots for his business  on a loca radiao  station during the time  that plays Rush and Beck,- was audited , and they keep coming back to him over and over
He’s a Democrat and Obama voter but bought ads on the radio that would most bring him business.
Obama is a threat to everyone

    1. mokadokado Thank you for telling us this. More people need to know about the bullying tactics of this administration.

  16. Listen to them groaning and breathing heavy. Newt nails it! This IRS is now to be trusted to fairly arbitrate Obamacare? Hmmmm. Raise your hand if your a Tea Party supporter expecting to get treated fairly by the IRS. I have some wet lands in Florida you might be interested in sight un seen too. Suckers R US? NO. p.s. democrats must answer for BENGHAZI and two dozen DEAD S.E.A.L.s sent to die in a kill  zone aboard an antique viet nam ear flying death trap with out cover to their obvious deaths.

  17. It’s NOT “almost madness”. It IS treason, no almost about it.
We need more Judge Jeannines. Call a lie a lie. Call treason treason, and impeach and carry out the sentence for treason against the traitors.
The only thing that could make the anti-American, anti-Constitutional hatred of the obama regime, and of the Left in general, clearer will be the beginning of the actual purge of the Right wing. When they start to actually kill us instead of talking about killing us.

    1. lawngreen I agree, they should be tried as traitors for treason, and his senior staff can join him on the gallows. Too
strong?, a President approved murder of American citizens.

  18. The impeachment process starts in the Senate.  People, we need a Republican majority in the Senate in 2014.  Don’t get angry–get rid of the Democrat majority and Harry Reid!!!

    1. LibLoather The Left controls the vote counting now. How are we supposed to get a Senate majority? We can’t even get bootlicker boner removed from the House Majority leader position.

      1. lawngreen LibLoather You’re absolutely right about Boehner, but one thing at a time.  We only need 6 Senate seats to gain the majority.  Many of these seats are held by Dems. in red states that Romney won in 2012.  If Repubs. take control of the full Congress, maybe it will give Boehner the impetus to get off his duff and lead.  He is only one election from being tossed out himself.

        1. LibLoather lawngreen I agree about one thing at a time.bone is chump change. I hope we make it to the 2014 elections without an imperial presidency being announced.

    2. LibLoather Wrong.  It starts in the House.
Clinton was impeached by the House.  The conviction occurs in the Senate where actual punishment can occur.  Removal from office and more.

      1. steveangll77 LibLoather Yes, I stand corrected.  I confused the ‘conviction’ process.

        1. LibLoather steveangll77 Understandable.
Seems this topic is almost always off limits since Clinton.

    3. LibLoather Impeachment proceedings start in the House.  That’s how Clinton was impeached, but not removed, he was acquitted in the Senate.

    4. LibLoather, Actually the “Impeachment process” starts in the U.S. House of Representatives when the House convenes a “House Select Committee on Impeachment.” This body acts as a “Grand Jury” to hear evidence and recommends “Articles of Impeachment” to the U.S. House of Representatives to be voted on. If any or all the “Articles of Impeachment” are approved, then “the approved Articles” are sent to the U.S. Senate that acts as “a Court Room” presided over by the U.S. Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court to hear the case against “the President and/or Vice-President.” This process has only been used twice in our Country’s History. President Andrew Johnson (1868). Result: “Failed by one vote.” President William J. Clinton (1998). Result: “Failed on a vote of 53 against and 46 in favor.”

    5. LibLoather Actually the Impeachment process begins in the U.S. House of Representatives. The House convenes a “House Select Committee on Impeachment.” It acts as a “Grand Jury” to hear evidence and to vote on “Articles of Impeachment.” If any or all the “Articles are approved, they go to the U.S. House of Representatives to be approved on. The impeachment process is a two-step procedure. Thehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_House_of_Representativesmust first pass, by a simple majority of those present and voting, “Articles of Impeachment,” which constitute the formal allegation or allegations. Upon their passage, the defendant has been “impeached”. Next, the U.S. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Senatetries the accused. In the case of the impeachment of a president, thehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chief_Justice_of_the_United_Statespresides over the proceedings. For the impeachment of any other official, the Constitution is silent on who shall preside, suggesting that this role falls to the Senate’s usual presiding officer. This may include the impeachment of the vice president, although legal theories suggest that allowing a defendant to be the judge in his own case would be a blatanthttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conflict_of_interest. If the Vice President did not preside over an impeachment (of anyone besides the President), the duties would fall to the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/President_pro_tempore_of_the_United_States_Senate. To convict the accused, a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two-thirds_majority of the Senators present is required. Conviction automatically removes the defendant from office. Following conviction, the Senate may vote to further punish the individual by barring him from holding future federal office, elected or appointed. Conviction by the Senate does not bar criminal prosecution. Even after an accused has left office, it is possible to impeach to disqualify the person from future office or from certain emoluments of his prior office (such as a pension). If there is no charge for which a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two-thirds_majority of the senators present vote “guilty”, the defendant is acquitted and no punishment is imposed.

  19. I think a lot of us know whose side obama is on….and it sure isn’t America’s.

  20. Not profiling, but persecution and punishing dissent.
What leftist tyrant ideologues always do.

  21. A white, middle class, Constitutional conservative, American flag waving patriot is now officially the Number one on our Federal Governments “Most Wanted” list.

    1. Add military veteran and heterosexual to the mix and you are heading for long-term prison time.

  22. “Almost Madness”? Said the Mad Hatter…  It crossed the Madness red line the day NObama was elected.
We are in the Insane Asylum and the Loons are running and ruining it!

    1. WolfieUSA Considering the forum he was wise to use kid gloves. We are in an Upside Down world my friend and I’m getting a headache.

  23. Progressivism, Leftist liberalism is madness, mental and cognitive disorder.  It is leaving the realm of reality, reason and evidence for ideology.
Look at the promotion of the false paradigm of ‘gay-ness’ and Gender Theory- basing one’s identity and ‘gender’ on conditioned feelings, thoughts sexual response.   This is ridiculous and is leading to far more alphabetical ‘orientations’ and ‘genders’ than LBGT – and changes in identity and confusion.
    For example: http://www.standfirminfaith.com/?/sf/page/30003
The Gay lifestyle (and any other kind of sexual promiscuity, for that matter) is not another normal, but a high-risk, deadly set of activities:

The leftists are only fooling themselves with their tangled thinking.

    1. Conniption Fitz There is only male, female and confused.  That poor “transgender” soul seemed bipolar too.

  24. “Almost” madness?  “ALMOST” madness?

    Really, Newt?

    “Almost” madness?

  25. How are they not profiling terrorists?
Moreso than the Bush administration they have been profiling and killing terrorists all over the world.

  26. Now we know what putting the IRS in charge of Obamacare was all about; to kill anyone who opposed Obama in any way.

  27. When you think about the Watergate incident (a bungled burglary attempt during which on one died) which caused Nixon to resign due to relentless pressure from the media and you compare the current regime and just a few things like Benghazi (where Americans died needlessly due to the bungling of the administration) and now the IRS being used to target “enemies” it begins to put the whole stockpiling of 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition by the DHS into perspective a little.
Almost madness?  It’s long past time for a change in Washington starting with removing obie from office.

    1. Dukehoopsfan I agree…he needs to be removed.I can’t believe he’s still in office and getting away w/ all the shit he’s doing.Seriously,Clinton had to leave just ‘cuz he was having some fun w/ an intern that couldn’t keep her mouth shut…why’s Obama still here?

    2. Dukehoopsfan Just obie? How about taking ALL the Federal Government (including every single agency) like a big mushroom cap and throwing it into the sea and starting fresh, “RESET!” all the way back to say 1789?

  28. “ALMOST madness???? The WH and all other democrats are mad….period! They have lost their collective minds, hearts, souls (if they ever had them in the first place) and are convinced they are impervious to everything they do. They still may be correct on being impervious….time will tell.
