Today Nicki Minaj tweeted that she wasn’t going to the Met Gala because they were mandating the vaccine and she wouldn’t be bullied into getting it:
They want you to get vaccinated for the Met. if I get vaccinated it won’t for the Met. It’ll be once I feel I’ve done enough research. I’m working on that now. In the meantime my loves, be safe. Wear the mask with 2 strings that grips your head & face. Not that loose one 🙏♥️

And she tweeted a story about her cousin getting swollen testicles because of the vaccine:
My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent. His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied

There’s a lot of pushback in her comments that this sounds more like an STD that a vaccine reaction, LOL.
Either way, she’s not telling people not to get the vaccine. She’s just telling them to be comfortable with their decision and don’t do it because you were bullied. Regardless of the tweet, that’s not bad advice.
But MSNBC’s Joy Reid thought it was and ripped into her on her show:
