Nigerian Muslims slaughter 500 Christians

This really saddens me to post this as I have great difficulty wrapping my mind around this kind of brutality. (via GatewayPundit)

On early Sunday morning Muslim herders attacked Christian villagers in Nigeria with machetes.
500 Christians were slaughtered.

Villagers in central Nigeria buried dozens of bodies, including those of women and children, in a mass grave on Monday after attacks in which several hundred people were feared to have been killed. (Reuters)

Some of the bodies had been charred. Some had slash marks across their faces. One young victim was found to be scalped and few others were found with cut off hands and legs.

The Muslim hackers shouted “Allah Akhbar” (God is Great) before breaking into homes and hacking the Christians to death.
The AFP reported:

UN chief Ban Ki-moon and Washington led calls for restraint on Monday after the slaughter of more than 500 Christians in Nigeria, as survivors told how the killers chopped down their victims.

Funerals took place for victims of the three-hour orgy of violence on Sunday in three Christian villages close to the northern city of Jos, blamed on members of the mainly Muslim Fulani ethnic group.

While troops were deployed to the villages to prevent new attacks, security forces detained 95 suspects but faced bitter criticism over how the killers were able to go on the rampage at a time when a curfew was meant to be in force.

Media reported that Muslim residents of the villages in Plateau state had been warned by phone text message, two days prior to the attack, so they could make good their escape before the exit points were sealed off.

Survivors said the attackers were able to separate the Fulanis from members of the rival Berom group by chanting ‘nagge’, the Fulani word for cattle. Those who failed to respond in the same language were hacked to death.

One local paper said the gangs shouted Allah Akhbar (God is Great) before breaking into homes and setting them alight in the early hours of Sunday. Churches were among the buildings that were burned down.

I’d be lying to you if I didn’t tell you that I think this could be emblematic of the fact that we could very well be in the last days. I’ve been feeling this way for quite some time, what with all the talk of one world government and one world currency. The Bible talks about how Christians will be hated even more in the last days, and this sure seems to be pretty devastating evidence. Nothing is certain (in regards to timing), though I do think many are aware that we could be only years of away from Christ’s return. Look, I know some of you don’t believe in God and that’s fine. I realize that in writing this some of you will think I’m one of those crazy religious zealots, and perhaps I am in the worlds eyes. I’m okay with that. Just don’t be put off by my thoughts on this.

Also, there’s graphic video (that I haven’t watched) of the massacre over at GatewayPundit’s site, so I’m gonna make you go there to see it. Be warned it’s graphic.

  1. It is a little hard to see my tongue in my cheek on the printed page. I typed that more for the reactions than anything else(the last sentence). At least I got a couple responses. That said, I do believe in defending oneself and even going after people that plan us harm.
While I do not consider myself a christian I believe it is best to act that way (christian ideals) because our actions follow us like the wheels of the cart follow the ox (karma). I grew up in the bible belt (south), and experienced many different churches. Buddhism takes me to the same space in a much more direct way. Same destination more simple verbiage. All is impermanent!

  2. Well, in that case…perhaps it WILL be an apocalypse…just NOT A LITERAL end of the planet's existence.

The Mayan calendars have different ages and the current age we're in at the moment is the “Age of the 5th Sun.” 3113 B.C. – 2012 A.D.

There's an interesting movie you should check out. It's called Esoteric Agenda. It'll give you some great insight into how modern religions tie into the ancient pagan religions and about the mayan calendar.

It's OUT THERE and I don't believe all of it either, but there are some very interesting points made in it as well as SOURCES to double-check at the end.

Here's the whole movie, if you're interested.

If you're interested in THAT, then here's the sequel as well.

  3. Another crusade? Is that not what got this whole mess started? Wholesale slaughter, that will certainly solve it won't it? I agree this was a horrific incident, but what you suggest would engulf the world in blood and fire…Or is that your aim in the first place? I'm not sure what form of Christianity you practice but it differs completely from the form I was raised in, one of tolerance, peace and leaving God's judgement to God.

  4. Apocalypse is ancient greek for A Revealing. As for the Mayan calendar, I think they got bored chiseling it into the stone and the last date was just where they left off.

  5. Haha. December 21, 2012. I feel like SOMETHING will happen…but just not the grand apocalypse that people MISINTERPRET when they read their religious scriptures.

  6. If you actually read your Revelations book a little more carefully, you'll see that it's NOT talking about an APOCALYPSE. It just talks about the end of the current age. The Mayans predicted the same things to include a global government LONG BEFORE the Bible was written. It's based on the star system and the TRUE calendar which we as a society have long stopped using.

I'd be on the lookout for December 21, 2012. That's when the “end of age,” is going to be.

  7. Bunch of idiotic comments on this site as there always is in RELIGIOUS posts. Both religions mentioned have slaughtered millions in their names. This is not the end of days. Pull yourselves together.

  8. “This stuff is happening all over the world”. You are very right on that Acidock, I am a living proof, since I could remember back in my country, the Muslims were killing Christians, beheaded them, slaughter Christians like animals hundreds were murdered, to this day, it is still happening, killing, kidnapping for ransom and terrorized the place. All because Muslims wanted to take over the whole region, claiming it is theirs. I was only 8, when my parents decided to leave the place. The experienced had haunted me every single day and night for years. I feared to go to school because they might come to murder us and at night I feared to open my eyes thinking the same. We were under Martial Law then. I asked to myself to this day, why our government has done nothing to get rid of all the insurgents? Don't get me wrong, though the ones that terrorized us were Muslims, but not all of the Muslims are bad. There are different tribes and I suspect certain tribes are being paid by the corrupt government to terrorized people for their own gain.
Scoop, “I think this could be emblematic of the fact that we could very well be in the last days.” you are not alone, I do believe in God, and I do feel the same for a long time now. Since believing God and what I feel He wants me to be. I tried to be as good as i can be. My partner for life has bad health problems, so I stopped working for about 6 years now and just spent times with, everday like it's our last day. And that's how I felt to spent my days with God as well, believing that He will take our lives anytime. So, repent and prepare our soul. I am not sure what God really had task me to be, but I believe I did my best, this way I am not afraid to die.

  9. What Bush did in Irak wasn't really the best thing to do and is completly unrelated to what is happening in Nigeria. Not to speak that the idea of having marines patrolling every single country around the world is stupid

What you have in Nigeria is people (Christian or not) being so poor, and desesperate, that they can't even afford to defend themselves.

Why ? because they suffer under poor a lack of of their most fundamental rights, and the US and western government are at fault.

Yes the US & EU are to blame not because of being ''evil'' but because they subsidize those bad government and politics in other people countries.

I'm pretty sure that UE or US have funded a gun control law in Nigeria or worse, surely funded the IMF clowns who give bad economic advice to those poor countries and thus provide the medium for this violance
So the first thing to do is to stop Giving foreign aid to government and instead only private donations through NGO who also can't receive govt money

Marines in Nigeria ???? Not such a great idea, when you guys finish Irak and Afganistan, lets talk about it

  10. Considering that these people are being abused by a dictatorial style government…that would STILL require US TO HELP. We'd have to essentially do for these people something SIMILAR to what Bush claimed…oh…AFTER Saddam was captured that we were supposedly doing for Iraq.

  11. This is not about ''helping'', this is about the fact that those people doesn't have the very right that you take from granted in the US, like :

Property rights. Most of those poor people can't farm land without fearing being robed by their own government

Free speech… most get killed to speak their mind

and above all they can't defend themself

You don't need to ''help'', just make sure that US dumb trade laws are torn down and Free trade become the new rule. Free trade is the only way to allow the poor around the world to get enough food to live and speak his mind, and some spare bucks to provide for is safety with a gun.

  12. Might I also add…and I wish I could remember who originally said this cause I got it from a movie and I know THEY got it elsewhere.

“Nothing in this universe truly dies, but is merely transformed.”

  13. It's all a part of the balance of life. Even though 500 souls have died…500 more are born elsewhere in the universe.

  14. But…but…but…there's NOTHING IN IT FOR US.

Lemme give you a little bit of Montsanto data. Montsanto is the worlds LARGEST food producing corporation. They OWN ALMOST ALL farms that grow food on Earth. MANY farms they DON'T own…they get “royalties” on because they OWN THE SEEDS with which the food is grown.

There is MORE than enough food on Earth to FEED EVERYONE THREE TIMES OVER…but OVER A BILLION people STARVE REGULARLY.

Yeah…we're NOT interested in helping these people or they'd HAVE FOOD TO EAT.

  15. It is hard to see this picture and read the article, but it needs to be due to our society being desensitized of these facts.
Keep up the work you do in getting the word out. We need to pray, and pray hard for conversions. God bless

  16. This is time to bring 2 amendment right to the rest of the world !

Those people were killed because they had no means to defends themselves… I say have the US stop financing dumb disarming campaign in third world countries.

Why not mounting a campaign against genocide ? I know It would be very unpopular both in the US and abroad, but collecting donations in the US to buy weaponry and offering it to those people who susceptible of being massacred.
Also sending civilians volunteers to teach the handling skills.

The risk, both in public relations and violence, make it very difficult and almost impossible.

But the bottom line is that gun control kill people, and those Christians are dying because they have no guns to defend themselves

We don't need to send the marines or bomb Nigeria (at least yet) … instead give them guns so they can defend themselves

  17. Heres a clip of the Janjaweed (Arabic Muslims) killing Black Muslims and non-Muslims. This stuff is happening all over the world, and has been for over 1400 years.

Although it isn't in this clip (it was taken down because of the violence in it) they showed how the Janjaweed to 'prove' their manhood would rape black Muslim young girls and non-Muslim young girls and then they would slice the girls tendons so that they would be “marked” for life.

The young girls would limp around the rest of the lives. Whether that lasted until the next raid or not.

  18. “Its about time for another crusade.”

Yeah, let's kill more people in the name of God.

  19. Thank you for posting this. It is a terrible event. It makes my point that islam is not a peaceful religion. It sure does seem like the end times are here and I'm not a religious person. I am open to hearing other folks beliefs. Its about time for another crusade.
