Essentially Haley explains that when she needed help doing something, she’d call up Trump and explain it to him. He would then send out a tweet with heavy rhetoric and she’d then use that, as she put it, ‘to get the job done’. In other words, she’d use Trump’s unpredictability to her advantage.
She also defended Trump’s ‘victory lap’ over N. Korea by pointing out just how dangerous it was when he was doing testing every other day.
Regarding Khashoggi, she defended the relationship we have with the Saudis in how helpful they’ve been with Iran. But she also suggested we can’t just let an assassination like this be swept under the rug, that we must stand on our principles in dealing with the Saudis and make sure they know this can never be done again.
