While I disagreed with Nikki Haley using the Republican response to the SOTU to criticize Republicans, I must say she is quickly redeeming herself. Today she was asked if Ted Cruz was one of the ‘angriest voices’ she was talking about last night and she basically said no. But she went on to say that she does have disagreements with other candidates, such as Jeb Bush pushing Common Core and Marco Rubio supporting Amnesty.
Watch:
Here are a few responses to Haley’s comments from Twitter:
Honestly shocked. She’s not wrong, but how is this in her interest? https://t.co/sfOmDONfaF

Can’t believe she actually used the word “amnesty” https://t.co/PyXNn1IwzE

That was a huge mistake. https://t.co/o1nkJrJtAJ

Only explanation re: Haley is that she’s already quietly committed to Cruz

@allahpundit other explanation: she didnt think through what she said very carefully

@RichLowry It’s so gratuitous, though. She volunteers the criticism, and actually uses the word “amnesty.” It’s attack-ad-ready
