Nikki Haley was asked to weigh in on the apparent deal struck between Trump and Chuck and Nancy, and she didn’t answer completely, but offered some sympathy.

That’s pretty much the perfect answer. I think you’d have to be pretty heartless or propagandized by outrage-blogs to not have some sympathy for people who were brought in illegally as children – most Americans do, according to polling. BUT, we have to be a country of laws. We cannot be held responsible for what kids’ parents do. What is likely to happen is some kind of DACA reinstatement by Congress, and if Trump caves any more, we’ll get very little border enforcement from his newfound BFFs, Chuck and Nancy. And that would be a true travesty for the country, apart from how much it would anger his base…
