Trent Reznor, the lead singer of Nine Inch Nails, was so angry that Ted Cruz drank all of his band’s beer that he ratted him out to his audience at a concert in Texas!!!

“Who voted for Ted Cruz? See the lights aren’t on, I can’t see,” he said, as reported by Consequence of Sound. “Is there any way to turn the lights on? I’d like to see. Raise your hand, you guys, nothing to be ashamed of, just checking.”
He also detailed a time Cruz was allowed on the guest list, and “drank all the beer.” “He might be here tonight, he was bugging to get on the guest list, and I told him to f*** off,” said Reznor. “We put him on a few years ago, he drank all the beer, and was just a pain in the ass to be around. Can’t hold it against you.”
I mean look, if Ted Cruz can drink ALL of your beer, then you need to fire whoever is providing beer for the band. Cruz is ONE guy. Geez!!
Then the guy rambled on about how tribalism is destroying America:
“It feels like things are coming unhinged, socially and culturally,” said Reznor. “The rise of Trumpism, of tribalism; the celebration of stupidity. I’m ashamed, on a world stage, at what we must look like as a culture. It’s seeing life through the eyes of having four small kids – what are they coming into? And who am I in this world where it feels like every day the furniture got moved a bit while I slept?”
He also explained we could be seeing the “fall of America in real time.” “We’ve got dumber, more tribalised [sic]; we’ve found niches of other people that focus on extremity,” Reznor noted. “For the miracle of everyone sharing ideas, I see a hell of a lot more racism. It doesn’t feel like we’ve advanced. I think you’re seeing the fall of the empire of America in real time, before your eyes; the internet has eroded the fabric of decency in our civilization.”
Well, yeah, kinda, but… I dunno hashtag MAGA.
What’s weird is that everyone is sharing this story out of hatred for Cruz – as if Reznor just told him straight out to eff off. But he didn’t. He only said that after Cruz drank his beer! Quite a political statement this guy is making, huh?
Also, Ted Cruz can have all of my beer any day….
