IN this clip from this morning, former Virginia Governor Terry McAliffe defended Northam on his comments on infanticide, saying he was speaking as a doctor, and was NOT speaking in support of the abortion bill in Virginia.

I get what he’s saying, but I think many of us have a different definition of the word “infanticide” that includes unborn babies. But even if you accept McAuliffe’s definition, what he says doesn’t make sense. If NO Democrats he knows support the Virginia abortion bill, then why does it have any support at all? And if Northam doesn’t actually believe what he said about infanticide then why did he not moonwalk it back when given the chance later? McAuliffe is trying to clean up after Northam to cover for the party of infanticide and he’s not doing a very good job.
He also said that Northam WILL resign:
I sure hope not! Just from a purely political standpoint, the longer he stays in there the more damage he does to the Democratic party and that is so enjoyable. On the other hand, the guy who will replace Northam when he resigns is just as pro-infanticide as he is, so it’s not much of a win for us….
