“No more policing!” Radical socialist Rashida Tlaib decries policing as RACIST, wants to do away with it altogether

Michigan Congresswoman and radical socialist Rashida Tlaib angrily declared yesterday, in the aftermath of Daunte Wright’s death, that it wasn’t an accident and that there should no more policing:

“It wasn’t an accident. Policing in our country is inherently & intentionally racist. Daunte Wright was met with aggression & violence. I am done with those who condone government funded murder. No more policing, incarceration, and militarization. It can’t be reformed.”

First of all, it does seem like it was an accident. I’m not saying there shouldn’t be an investigation and/or consequences, but for Tlaib to declare that Wright was murdered ignores what actually happened on the bodycam. But then Tlaib doesn’t really care about the facts or what’s on the video. She also doesn’t care that Wright fought police and resisted arrest, which is what lead to his death.

No, she only has one agenda here which is to get rid of policing, which is absolutely insane. There is no community, rich or poor, that would be better off without policing. More people would be murdered, raped and robbed and the criminals would never be found. This is nothing more than a recipe for anarchy and that’s what she’s pushing with this nonsense.

But this was the entire point of the defunding movement that sprang up last year, to get rid of current policing and replace it with counselors with tasers or something. It was never really about reforming police or defunding them just a little. Democrats like Tlaib only ‘changed’ the message to make it seem like less serious because elections were coming and being anti-police is not a good look.
