This afternoon Trump slapped Lindsey Graham around a little in a tweet, telling him to call Obama to testify in “the biggest political crime and scandal” in America’s history. He told Graham “no more talk”, to “just do it”:
“If I were a Senator or Congressman, the first person I would call to testify about the biggest political crime and scandal in the history of the USA, by FAR, is former President Obama. He knew EVERYTHING. Do it Lindsey Graham, just do it. No More Mr. Nice Guy. No more talk!”

That’s obviously a reference to the fact that Graham threatened in the past to invite Volker to testify because House Democrats refused to release his testimony. But then he never followed up on this threat even though Democrats still refused to release it. Since then he’s been dubbed as ‘all talk’.
I think what actually happened was that McConnell wanted nothing to do with the impeachment shenanigans from House Democrats, wanting them to own it completely without Republican interference. So he snapped back Graham like a wet towel and so nothing happened. I could be wrong, but that’s my guess.
In any event, Graham has gone from being a great defender in the phony Kavanaugh scandal to getting called out by Trump for doing nothing. It’s long past time for him to fix that problem. After all, he’s the chairman of the freaking Senate judiciary committee and he really hasn’t use that power to do very much that I can see.
