There’s an internet uproar over a crazy ad that Dove soap put out, but really, most of the tweets are laughing incredulously instead of expressing outrage.
Now c’mon what were they thinking:
LOL!! It’s just so stupid that it’s crazy to think why anyone would think it would be OK to publish it.
They apologized pretty quickly:
An image we recently posted on Facebook missed the mark in representing women of color thoughtfully. We deeply regret the offense it caused.

That has to be one of the most oblivious ad mistakes I’ve ever seen. Oh well, at least their stupidity was entertaining! LOL!
