The New York Times printed a list of thousands of the 100,000 coronavirus victims on their front page in order to show just what a tremendous toll the pandemic has taken on American life.

And then they screwed it up really bad:

Yup. They added someone who died from homicide. So they buried the lede here, right?!? I mean if coronavirus is going out there and shooting people to death, then it has definitely mutated into something terrifying!!

Now that doesn’t, of course, undo the horrible nature of this pandemic and the incredible emotional toll it has taken on the families of those who perished. It’s just not a good look for the New York Times, the supposed paper of record…
