I don’t want to make too much of this, because I know that Obama was just speaking in quantities. And apparently he is absurdly wrong, which even more illustrates this point: is it okay to placate the Muslim world by saying ‘America could be a Muslim’ nation when he refuses to placate the 85% in America who profess to be Christians by saying we are not a Christian nation? We all know he chose not to publicly honor the National Day of Prayer which historically has had a Christian emphasis, and we know that he removed the name of Jesus (cristogram) when giving a speech at Georgetown.
And if we are not a Christian nation, then why the over-emphasis of Obama’s Christianity during the campaign while de-emphasizing of his Muslim heritage? And now to re-emphasize his Muslim heritage?
