Tell me, when did we have a nuke day on the calendar? Were we planning to nuke a country in the near future? If so, then boy I am glad he stopped us! We just can’t be trusted!
Once again Obama is trying to take the moral high ground here and at the same time is slamming the US. He is telling us that our previous guidelines on when we use nuclear weapons is not good enough and he wants to prevent us from using them as much as possible, even in self defense.
This goes right along with his apology tour last year, his moral equivalency on nukes and his disdain for the country he leads.
I don’t know if I can wait until 2012. This is utterly horrific!

But the president said in an interview that he was carving out an exception for “outliers like Iran and North Korea” that have violated or renounced the main treaty to halt nuclear proliferation. …
It eliminates much of the ambiguity that has deliberately existed in American nuclear policy since the opening days of the Cold War. For the first time, the United States is explicitly committing not to use nuclear weapons against non-nuclear states that are in compliance with the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, even if they attacked the United States with biological or chemical weapons, or launched a crippling cyberattack.
