Obama’s war on women: White House pays women 18 percent less than men

Obama tries to accuse Republicans of waging a war on women and then he’s caught holding the gun:

FREE BEACON – Female employees in the Obama White House make considerably less than their male colleagues, records show.

According to the 2011 annual report on White House staff, female employees earned a median annual salary of $60,000, which was about 18 percent less than the median salary for male employees ($71,000).

The Obama campaign on Wednesday lashed out at presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney for his failure to immediately endorse the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Restoration Act, a controversial law enacted in 2009 that made it easier to file discrimination lawsuits.

President Obama has frequently criticized the gender pay gap, such as the one that exists in White House.

“Paycheck discrimination hurts families who lose out on badly needed income,” he said in a July 2010 statement. “And with so many families depending on women’s wages, it hurts the American economy as a whole.”

It is not known whether any female employees at the White House have filed lawsuits under the Ledbetter Act.

  1. Why is this not in an ad in every swing state right now? Are you listening RNC. Karl Rove, where are you? The Republicans need to get their act together. They seem more interested in defeating the Conservatives than beating Obama. Pitiful!

    1. No f**king shit! The GOP puppets are too busy trying to carry Romney’s weak @ss to Tampa. These RINOs have no [email protected] to go after Obama. With Romney on the ticket, it will be another McLame campaign.

  2. Uhhhhh … well, I hate to sound like the ‘Negative Nanny’ here, but, with these deficits, we’re not actually calling for Showbama to up their pay, right? How about we lower the men’s salaries, thereby not contributing to the debt any more than we need to?

  3. The headline should read the US corporation’s war on women. Give me a break, everyone knows that men get paid more everywhere and get more promotions. Women are considered good for filing and answering phones.

  4. The same Beau Biden State Attorney where John Wheeler was found in a dumpster. They’re trying to get rid of Sheriff’s across the country. I guess Sheriff Arpaio is getting in the way of their tyranny.

The mainstream media has not reported the story, but the son of Vice President Joe Biden, who serves as Attorney General for the state of Delaware, has issued a mandate to county commissioners informing them that sheriffs in the state’s three counties no longer have arrest powers.

    1. From the article; “Homeland Security is purchasing 450 million rounds of hollow point bullets.”

Is Department of Homeland Security expecting to use this ammunition on breaches of security from foreign attacks? Right. I don’t think so either. There are 307 million people in the United States, the 20 century saw the Communists murder more innocents than at any time in history, how high will the tally be with the 21 century Communists?

Obama needs a second term to finish what he started, you know, he needs more flexibility.

New Obama campaign video attacks Romney as ‘severely conservative’

“Using Mitt Romney’s own words against him, President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign released a new video on Wednesday that paints the all-but-certain Republican nominee as a “severely conservative” politician who’s uncaring about middle-class economic suffering and who’s determined to outlaw abortion.”

“I will preserve and protect a woman’s right to choose, and I am devoted and dedicated to honoring my word in that regard.”

  6. A long, long time ago, in a far different life, I seem to recall that the worst guys to date were the liberal guys…yes, I’m a woman…they were cheap, slimy, and treated women like trash. Truthfully, I’m not surprised here. Some of the biggest d-bags I know now are liberal guys.
