Ocasio-Cortez says Trump’s rhetoric “directly responsible” for El Paso massacre, but gets DEMOLISHED by Guy Benson

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is now blaming Trump’s rhetoric for the massacre that took place in El Paso over the weekend.

According to the NY Daily News, AOC told a crowd at a vigil in Brooklyn last night “that anti-immigration rhetoric by President Trump and others “is directly responsible for what happened in El Paso.””

I couldn’t find her entire comments on video, but I believe that’s what she’s referring to when this video begins. She goes on to accuse Trump of being a racist, just like the rest of Democrats who want to defeat him in 2020:

We do know from the potential manifesto of the El Paso shooter that has been circulating on 8chan that he was very much against what he viewed as an ‘invasion’ of hispanics into the state of Texas and the United States. But if we’re going to use that manifesto as the basis for his beliefs, then we must also note that the manifesto “concluded with the writer saying his opinions predate Trump and his presidential campaign.”

It’s absurd for AOC to put this on the rhetoric of the president – or anyone else for that matter – a point made very well by Guy Benson:

LOL! I love how he ended it with ‘lock her up?’.

He’s exactly right. If we’re going to blame Trump for this, then we have to blame AOC for Antifa’s ICE attack.

Obviously, Benson’s real point is that is utterly ridiculous to take Trump’s rhetoric and blame it for the massacre, just as it is to blame AOC for the Antifa attacks. But as I said last night about Biden, the race card is the only arrow left in their quiver to try and destroy Trump in 2020. They will paint him as the most evil, hitleresque president that we’ve ever had in hopes that their deranged hatred of Trump will turn into Democratic votes. It’s all they got left.
