Right now there isn’t much information being reported, only that a police officer was shot in the University City suburb of St. Louis and he’s been transported to the hospital. His condition is unknown, as are the circumstances:

I know it’s possible that this was unrelated to Ferguson, but I think that’s very unlikely at this point. But I’ll bring you updates as soon as I get them.
UPDATE: St. Louis County PD says the officer was shot in the arm, but expected to be ok.
U. City officer was shot in the arm. He is expected to be okay. Shooting may not be related to #Ferguson unrest.
