Oh so NOW Fauci is NOT so sure Covid wasn’t manmade after all. Seriously dude? Also: mask dance continues.

When Republican senator Dr. Rand Paul and NIAID director Dr. Anthony Fauci had it out just over a week ago on capitol hill it made a lot of news. What got less attention was a Politifact interview with Fauci after the fact.

Jerry Dunleavy of the Washington Examiner pointed out this weekend that during that softball session, Fauci revealed something that ought to have been treated as a HUGE deal but wasn’t.

Fauci now says he is NOT sure that Covid 19 is strictly a natural phenomenon.

The implication is amazing. It came from Wuhan in China. That’s the start of the pandemic, even though saying so was – during the Trump presidency – treated as being inherently a racist observation.

In Wuhan is a viral lab – which as Rand Paul noted, Fauci was monetarily tangled up with – and that lab is what CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta said is an “obvious” suspect in the release of the world-stopping viral outbreak. And that observation was treated like a conspiracy theory that branded you a crazy person AND a racist … during the Trump presidency.

But NOW … well:

President Joe Biden’s chief medical adviser, who has led the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984, said he was unsure when asked by Politifact’s Katie Sanders about whether he was still confident that COVID-19 emerged naturally.

“No, actually. … No, I’m not convinced about that. I think that we should continue to investigate what went on in China until we find out to the best of our ability exactly what happened,” Fauci said during the May 11 interview. “Certainly, the people who’ve investigated it say it likely was the emergence from an animal reservoir that then infected individuals, but it could’ve been something else, and we need to find that out. So, you know, that’s the reason why I said I’m perfectly in favor of any investigation that looks into the origin of the virus.”

The Wuhan lab leak theory is going mainstream. It should have been all along but instead it was forbidden in science, thanks in major part to Fauci, and likewise the media.

But nobody in the press will ever have to issue a mea culpa and neither will Fauci. They just claim their view evolved. The people they branded as conspiracy theorists? The ones they drove from jobs, kicked out of science? The ones they denied funding to who can no longer publish their work? Tough break. Evolution sucks.

It’s the same with Fauci’s ever changing mask ideas.

It’s amazing, to be in with the in crowd, isn’t it? Look how uncomfortable she was asking him. Look how she communicated an apologetic pose. Just to ASK him about it. And she doesn’t take him to task or challenge his facts at any point. A FACT CHECKER!

Dr. Anthony Fauci doesn’t have to answer for how things he said resulted in ending careers, livelihoods, or actual lives. That’s what being part of the favored political class gets ya.
