A man in Ohio, presumably Muslim, was arrested after lying to police about an attack in which he said someone hit him with their car after shouting anti-Palestinian slurs.
The man, Hesham A. Ayyad, claimed a man swerved to hit him with his car after yelling “Kill all Palestinians” and “Long live Israel”.
Ayyad was taken to the hospital and police began to investigate. Pretty soon they learned that surveillance video didn’t back up his claims.
What they found, from the footage, was that his injuries actually came from being in a fight with his brother.
Both the Ayyad brothers were arrested for domestic violence and assault. Hersham Ayyad is also accused of making false alarms, falsification, and obstructing official business.
