A Republican Congresswoman from New York and daughter of immigrant parents, which fled Castro’s Cuba in 1959, explained yesterday how court packing has been used before and why it really is a “play right out of the socialist handbook”:

She explains that former Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez used court packing back in 2004 to help destroy the wealthiest, most prosperous country in South America. She said he did this so that he could have all of these court challenges ruled in his favor.
Malliotakis says this is why you should be concerned about court packing.
