Paul Ryan said he had a ‘very constructive’ meeting with Republicans today and that they are still working on fixing Obamacare:

While I do think Paul Ryan has been a big problem on Obamacare, I’m glad he’s putting out the message that they are still working on it. Because Trump’s ‘let it die’ message is just dumb and irresponsible.
Ryan said in the presser that he doesn’t want the Republican Party to be a factionalized party, but rather a unified party. Hopefully he’s learned something from this last Obamacare lite failure and is willing to lead Republicans to a more conservative, market-oriented health care replacement.
Of course considering how it played out last week, I don’t have much hope at this point that much has changed.
