The DOJ has been busy with arrests made in Portland, which account for over 31% of all federal arrests made in America due to civil unrest:

74 arrests so far in Portland, with 236 arrests nationally. That’s striking.
The DOJ is also hitting back at the phony media reports that these protests are ‘largely peaceful’:
.@NewsHour’s reckless and factually inaccurate headline perpetuates misinformation and endangers lives. It’s time for the media to report the facts on the ground. https://t.co/ZFqf3AeEAg

As they point out, “Molotov cocktails, sledgehammers, pipe bombs, mortar fireworks and metal spikes” aren’t “the tools of peaceful protesters. They are tools of violent rioters looking to harm and destroy.”
The DOJ also added this:
Violence in Portland has been going on for over 8 weeks.
Rioters assault federal officers every night.
In one 24 hour period this weekend, federal officers sustained at least 14 injuries from the violence.

“Peaceful protesters don’t assault officers.” Indeed.
