Nancy Pelosi is now today that there will be public impeachment hearings against Trump as soon as this month:
AXIOS – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told Bloomberg on Friday that she expects the impeachment inquiry’s public hearings to start this month, but she said the House has no deadline to conduct its probe.
Pelosi said it’s possible the inquiry could stretch into 2020, depending on the details that emerge, according to Bloomberg. She also said the committees conducting the inquiry could continue with closed-door hearings, so long as they’re “productive.”
The Speaker said, “We have not made any decisions on if the president will be impeached,” adding, “There has to be clarity” in the case for impeachment, and that Trump’s July 25 phone call with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky “changed everything in the public mind.”
Pelosi claims that they haven’t decided whether Trump will be impeached or not, but that’s no totally true. 95 of her members voted earlier this year to open articles of impeachment against Trump with zero legitimate charges against him and many have already been vocal in saying Trump should be impeached. Which is just another reason why this process is the furthest thing from objective and fair.
What burns my popcorn is that after Benghazi happened, Democrats fought tooth and nail at any investigation into what really happened that left our Ambassador and several others dead in Libya. The didn’t care that we left our people to die. And when the IRS was found to have been discriminating against conservative groups, they didn’t want to investigate that either. But because Trump wants to make sure the corruption of 2016 in Ukraine is over and that Joe Biden and his son’s corrupt misdeeds are investigated, they want him impeached and thrown out of office.
The mere mention of impeaching Obama brought forth ugly claims of racism from Democrats and those in the media who sought to protect Obama every inch of the way. Democrats are despicable and they absolutely can’t be trusted to oversee an impeachment process, especially one that doesn’t even have a crime yet. As I pointed out, the verdict is already in and Trump will be impeached by these charlatans. It’s all about defeating him in 2020 which is why we all know they won’t stop until they do it.
