[BIG UPDATE] — Pence backs up Trump on migrant infiltrators!

Mike Pence is backing up Trump on his suggestion that there are unknown Middle Easterners infiltrating the migrant mob headed for the US:

ABC NEWS – Vice President Mike Pence doubled down Tuesday on the president’s assertion that “Middle Easterners” have infiltrated a caravan of Central American migrants traveling through Mexico to the U.S. border.

“It’s inconceivable that there are not people of Middle Eastern descent in a crowd of more than 7,000 people advancing toward our border,” Pence said in a conversation with the Washington Post Tuesday morning.

Pence backed up President Donald Trump’s statements that people from the Middle East, as well as MS-13 gang members, were mixed in with the thousands of migrants traveling to the nation’s southern border to escape violence and poverty in their countries. Trump made the comments in a tweet Monday and repeated them during a campaign rally in Houston later that night.

I think it’s pretty inconceivable too that our enemies like ISIS wouldn’t try and take advantage of this mob to get into the US.

UPDATE: You should hear Pence’s actual comments where he cites the President of Honduras telling him that this migrant mob was organized by leftist organizations and funded by Venezuela! But all the media is reporting is that Pence backed the president’s comments.

[END UPDATE]

The media – especially CNN – has been accusing Trump of lying about this. But I wonder if it has ever occurred to them that Trump may have the evidence but can’t show it because it is classified?

Look I’m not saying that Trump has it or not. I don’t know. But they don’t even give him the consideration that maybe he does have it and just can’t speak to it. They just jump straight to ‘he’s lying’ – which I’ll grant is a possibility given Trump’s past when it comes to his ‘say anything’ approach to win an election.

But there are some reports that other countries are in the mix…

I prefer more solid reporting than just her word, but this is congruent with the report we did yesterday from the Univision reporter.
