Pentagon releases U-2 photo of the Chinese spy balloon from close to outer space

The Pentagon has released a photo of the Chinese spy balloon from what appears to be pretty close to outer space.

The photo was released today and it was taken from a U-2 aircraft flying far above the spy balloon.

The balloon itself was traveling at 58,000 feet.

The balloon appears to be massive from that persective. And indeed it was, as reports said it was as wide as a couple of busses.

What’s disconcerting about the photo is that it was taken while the balloon was surveilling over the middle of the United States.

This is the same balloon that Biden’s intel agencies watched as it took off from China. It never had to get this far but it did.
