Pentagon spokesman John Kirby was asked today if Joe Biden believe the reward of gain-of-function research outweighs the risk.
After repeating the question slowly so he understood it, Kirby confirmed that Biden does believes in gain-of-function research.

Kirby says Biden believes that gain-of-function research is necessary to PREVENT pandemics. Prevent. Yeah, he said that.
So I guess the followup should be, does he mean pandemics like the one gain-of-function helped create that just killed nearly 7 million people in the last three years???
The US government (aka Anthony Fauci) was funding gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab which created a virus that leaked out to the entire world. And he’s gonna sit here and tell us how necessary it is to prevent pandemics? Oh now they believe in doing gain-of-function research in a ‘safe’ environment.
If any one organization in the US was responsible for this panedmic, even in conjunction with a lab in China, there would be HELL to pay. They would be shut down and never allowed to work with this kind of research again.
But the US government gets a pass from the media – the same media who was in favor of silencing people who believed in and touted the Wuhan lab leak ‘theory’. The US government can keep doing gain-of-function research because they know what’s best for us…or something like that. Unbelievable.
