Pentagon spox suggests they will leave behind evacuees that they CAN’T get out

Pentagon spokesman John Kirby made it abundantly clear this morning that Biden would be leaving people behind in Afghanistan:

Kirby said: “If you’re an evacuee that we can get out, we’re going to continue to get you out.”

Notice the caveat “that we can get out”. In other words if you can’t make it to the airport, good luck living under Taliban rule.

Kirby then added a big ‘but’ to his comments saying:

“But in those last couple of days we’re going to try and preserve as much capability as we can at the airport, as you might imagine. So those last couple of days, we will begin to prioritize military capabilities and military resources to move out.”

So even if someone makes it to the airport before the 31st, they might still get left behind because the military has to get their stuff out too. What a travesty that will be. This also seems to legitimize the reporting by Bret Baier yesterday, that Biden would only be evacuating people for the next 72 hours.

Just so you know, this is what the airport looks like right now:

But hey, let’s give Biden props! You know, for turning a stable Afghanistan into a terrorist hell-hole and leaving Americans behind to live under terrorist-rule. He gets all the props for that!
