In a radio interview with The Breakfast Club and Charlamagne Tha G, Pete Buttigieg suggested that perhaps we should change the definition of when life begins to when a baby takes its first breath, outside of the womb:
Buttigieg suggests we determine life when the baby draws its first breath.
A 2020 presidential candidate is suggesting babies can be killed up UNTIL a baby draws its first breath.

The first thing to note is how Buttigieg introduces the topic of abortion, saying “they hold everybody in line with this one piece of doctrine about abortion“. In other words, he wants to dismantle this “piece of doctrine” in order to divide the right, because he wants their votes.
In order to do this, he suggests that we should change the definition of when life begins, saying “there’s a lot of parts of the Bible that talk about how life begins with breath, and so even that is something that we can interpret differently…”. But that’s not really true. The Bible says Adam’s life began with GOD’S breath, and as a result of that, the rest of humanity flowed from him. It doesn’t say anything beyond that about life beginning when we start ‘breathing’.
Of course then Buttigieg suggested that whether we can agree on that or not, we can all agree that it’s the woman that should be making the decision. Uh no, no we can’t. I will never concede that it’s a woman’s right to choose to kill her baby. Not in this life or the next.
Then Charlamagne tha G added in his own worthless two cents which will make you facepalm. I’ll leave that part for you to discover.
