Rep. Peter King slammed what he called the “disinformation” by the CIA put out to discredit Trump’s electoral victory, saying there was no evidence for their claim that Putin helped him win.

I just don’t trust Peter King as he’s shown himself to be willing to say anything as long as it’s in his political interest. In this case he’s making accusations against the CIA without any evidence because he says they’re making accusations about the election without evidence. It just seems like his comments are driven by self-interest more than any kind of rational assessment. I never thought I’d live to see the day when Republicans would tow the line to defend a murderous Soviet despot, but here we are.
