Planned Parenthood announced today that they are funding the biggest campaign they’ve ever funded to defeat Trump next year.
They are desperate:
THE HILL – Planned Parenthood’s super PAC announced a $45 million electoral campaign on Wednesday to defeat President Trump and Republicans in key Senate races.
The investment will fund a “large-scale” grassroots organization and canvass, digital, television, radio and mail programs.
“The stakes are higher than ever, and we’re coming out more powerfully than ever with the largest investment we’ve ever made,” said Kelley Robinson, executive director of Planned Parenthood Votes, in an interview with The Hill.
The campaign will focus on Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
The campaign, which could exceed $45 million, will tell voters there is a “coordinated attack” among Republicans in state legislatures, Congress and the White House to overturn Roe v. Wade, the landmark Supreme Court ruling that established the right to an abortion.
That’s exactly what this is about. Kavanaugh. They know RBG won’t be on the court much longer and they don’t want to see another constitutionalist put on the court by Trump to replace her. And the only way to stop Trump from doing this – they hope – is to defeat him in the election next year. This assumes, of course, that RBG will stay on the court through the end of next year.
That’s the bigger deal to PP. But this is also about Trump’s war on abortion, via his changing the rules for Title X funding and PP being forced to pull out, losing millions of dollars.
Lila Rose has responded to PP’s announcement:

"Americans shouldn’t be forced to fund a pro-abortion political advocacy group which has chosen to spend tens of millions to secure its government revenue streams while destroying human lives.”

@March_for_Life pres on PP's $45 million 2020 spending:
PP "is a political advocacy group with a focus on expanding abortion…It is unfair to force Americans to subsidize through their tax dollars this partisan political organization bent on electing pro-abortion politicians.”
