Okay apparently this is the day for heartwarming stories and on this one I can’t help myself as I have two cats of my own.
Officer Jon Habig heard the meows of this stranded kitty in a sewer drain and called the Street Dept. to come help rescue the little fellow. This is in Hamilton, Ohio in case you were wondering:

Officer Habig not only rescued this little kitty from the sewer drain, but adopts him and names him Jack. Here are a few photos:
