President Trump explained earlier today why unemployment has ticked up to 4.5%, instead of going down with the private sector job gains.
In short, it’s because of all the jobs that have been lost in his shrinking of the federal government:
The only reason our Unemployment ticked up to 4.5% is because we are reducing the Government Workforce by numbers that have never been seen before. 100% OF OUR NEW JOBS ARE IN THE PRIVATE SECTOR! I could reduce Unemployment to 2% overnight by just hiring people into the Federal Government, even though those Jobs are not necessary. I wish the Fake News would report the 4.5% correctly. What I am doing is the only way to, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
What Trump is saying is undoubtedly true, but at this time of year there are always job cuts and layoffs in the private sector. I think the job situation and unemployment rate is more complicated than just being government job cuts. But he’s not wrong that the garbage media don’t want to fairly report this.
