President Zelensky has just delivered an address to his nation at 2am local time in Ukraine regarding Putin’s invasion of eastern Ukraine.
From everything I can tell from what’s being reported on Twitter, Zelensky is not cowering at all. Instead he’s drawing a line in the sand, saying that Ukraine will know who it’s real friends are and those who just want to ‘scare’ Putin with words.
President Zelensky addressed Ukrainians after 2am local time. “We are not afraid. We won’t cede anything.” He said Putin withdrew from Minsk Agreements by ordering troops into Ukraine officially. He called for emergency meetings of OSCE, Normandy Format, UNSC. pic.twitter.com/rnValxmLx8

But also "We are dedicated to the peaceful and diplomatic path. We are on our land. We are not afraid of anything or anyone; we don’t owe anything to anyone; and we will not cede anything to anyone."
