President’s Weekly Address – About That Phone And Pen …

In this week’s address, the President attempts to allay the average person’s fears about the much-repeated “phone and pen” threat, saying:

I want to work with Congress on this agenda where I can. But in this year of action, whenever I can take steps without legislation to expand opportunity for more American families, I will. I’ve got a pen and a phone – a pen to take executive action, and a phone to rally citizens and business leaders who are eager to create new jobs and new opportunities.

He then lists a few meetings he’s held, no big deal, and things he has ordered be undertaken because he darn well said so. He then adds “So when you hear me talk about using my pen and my phone to make a difference for middle class Americans and those working to get into the middle class, that’s what I mean.”

See? Nothing to worry about. Just basically having meetings. Oh and making laws, changing laws, ordering people to create groups, regulations and funds, redirecting money .. you know, standard stuff any one of you might do on any given weekend.

Those who have seen the President’s address each week have seen a trend that this week’s sticks to absolutely: class warfare, congress can’t help you, I’ll act alone. This is the President’s theme. This is what he means by year of action. He is flat-out telling you that he’s going to enact his spread the wealth socialist-lite agenda, whether you like it or not.
