Psaki asked why Biden doesn’t attack governors repealing mask mandates like they do Gov. DeSantis

Psaki was asked an interesting question today regarding the five states that are repealing their mask mandates. She was asked specifically why the administration isn’t condemning these states like they have Governor DeSantis:

Psaki says:

“There’s a distinct difference between standing in the way, which Ron DeSantis did, of teachers, school administrators and others taking steps to protect the students in the school communities. There’s a difference between standing in the way of it, threatening to pull back funding and allowing for local school districts to make choices, which is what a number of these states are doing.”

That might sound reasonable to someone not paying attention, but she left a HUGE point out or her little diatribe.

Governor DeSantis did take away the authority of teachers and school administrators to force masking on their kids. And he gave that authority right back to the PARENTS where it belongs. DeSantis believes the ultimate choice as to whether a student wears a mask belongs to the parents, not some authoritarian school board.

Psaki and Biden don’t want parents to have that choice because they are socialists who believe in government control. I’ll take DeSantis believing in the individual freedom of parents any day of the week over these radicals.
