Even Republicans are divided about the CIA assessment that the Russian government did indeed aim to interfere with the U.S. election.
Here’s Reince Priebus being the perfect lapdog for Trump and repeating anything he says:
.@reince Priebus: Report that Russians hacked RNC "absolutely not true." https://t.co/C80D7lF0lj #thisweek https://t.co/0cU9EziLEC

And here’s the TeaParty’s favorite punching bag, John McCain, saying of course the Russians interfered with our election:

And he’s calling for an investigation into the matter:
"You can't make this issue partisan. It is too important. A fundamental part of a democracy is a free and fair election." – Sen. McCain pic.twitter.com/kR05KDSPKD

Here’s the bipartisan statement he made with Democrats about the matter:

It’s true that the CIA is making an assessment based on evidence that the FBI says doesn’t amount to a rigorous conclusion. But doesn’t that mean there should be a full investigation? Even former Trumper Joe Walsh thinks it’s “treasonous” to not give a crap about the possibility. I don’t think it’s that bad, since some people seem to drop that accusation at the drop of a hat, but I have to admit it’s pretty shameful how Republicans are willing to look the other way when there’s evidence Putin is screwing with our election just because they won.
