Rachel Mitchell gives stunning indictment of Ford in new memorandum to Republicans over Kavanaugh accusations

Rachel Mitchell, the sex crimes prosecutor who questioned Christine Ford in the hearing on Thursday, has sent a memo to Republicans giving her independent assessment Ford and her accusations against Kavanaugh.

If you don’t want to read the full memo, here’s the bottom line:

A “he said, she said” case is incredibly difficult to prove. But this case is even weaker than that. Dr. Ford identified other witnesses to the event, and those witnesses either refuted her allegations or failed to corroborate them. …I do not think a reasonable prosecutor would bring this case based on the evidence to the Committee. Nor do I believe that this evidence is sufficient to satisfy the preponderance-of-the-evidence standard.

That was what Mitchell printed in bold on the memo to Republicans. And to be fair, it’s what we basically already knew. But to hear it from an award winning prosecutor like Mitchell should give it even more credibility to people who care about the truth – which is clearly not the Senate Democrats.

Here’s a key portion from page 2 of the memo, highlighting the inconsistencies of Ford’s relaying of accusations:
