A new video of Toronto Mayor Rob Ford surfaced this week, and has been making the rounds on YouTube and the news networks alike.
Ford has admitted to drinking before the caught-on-camera moment, which is sort of like Forrest Gump admitting to being “slow” or Bill Maher copping to being a douchebag. Only a few weeks ago the Mayor promised to give up drugs and alcohol. But to be fair, he was pretty high when he said that.
This morning (or last night if you use the Andy Levy clock), the guys and gal at Red Eye did a brief segment about the incident.
It was comedian Tom Shillue who had the best line. “It just shows that anybody can be mayor of anything.”
Ford’s antics never fail to make a splash online and on TV. He’s the jester who would be king; not only does he refuse to step down, he has even floated the idea of running for Prime Minister. I smell a reality show. “Lush Prime Minister”?
