Let’s give Brad Sherman points for honesty here, but an honest socialist is still a socialist. What Sherman is basically saying here is that government has a right to loot “wealthy” estates at tax rates of 50% or higher because politicians like him will then turn around and redistribute the booty to poor people, nice people that they are.
This is just another iteration of what Barack Obama himself confessed to Joe the Plumber on the 2008 campaign trail, and a great example of the statist mindset of so many Democrats these days.
