On Fox News yesterday, Repl Duncan Hunter spoke with Megyn Kelly about the recent, laughable tweet from State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki.
Amateur hour is right. Hunter goes on to describe the starry-eyed, self-involved, oblivious state in which most liberals seem to perpetually drift. They don’t get the real world, he explains.
“I think they live in a liberal world where we think that everybody is as nice as we are, and everybody should live by the same rules as Americans live by and respect life, and value each other. They don’t quite understand that there is places out there that people like the Russians, the Syrians, a lot of places in the Middle East and Southwest Asia where they don’t value what we call value. And there is a real disconnect between what the State Department thinks is the real world and what the real world really is. It is hard for them to reconcile that.”

As an aside, my only quibble with this clip is with Megyn Kelly, who is of course great and wonderful. But I would rather she had attributed the hilarious Churchill tweet that had the whole newsroom laughing. It’s not much to ask that when you say something clever enough to be aired, that your name or the source be aired along with it. Here’s the tweet:
