Rep. Gaetz BATTLES with MSNBC host over Mueller’s alleged conflict of interest…

MSNBC host and lawyer Ari Melber debated with Rep. Gaetz, a Republican who has lobbed fiery accusations against special counsel Robert Mueller about his alleged conflict of interest in his Russian investigation.

Watch the fireworks!! This is a short excerpt from the debate:

Basically Melber tries to get Gaetz to link Mueller to the Uranium One deal, which he says proves his conflict of interest. Melber points out that the FBI was not one of the nine agencies charged with commenting on that uranium sale.

Here’s the full debate:

As much as I despise Melber, I think he’s got Gaetz on this one. In order for there to have been a conflict of interest on the basis that Gaetz is making, you basically have to assume the popular right-wing notion that everything Hillary Clinton touches was corrupt. Now, that may be the case but it’s not proven legally. So this is popular on Hannity’s show, but doesn’t meet the legal standard that Gaetz pretends it does.

Besides, Trump says he won’t fire him. So let’s see what the old man can dig up.
